Central theme: Power of change

Individual and collective learning within the police is necessary to safeguard and strengthen the quality of that craftsmanship and professional competence and thus to carry out ever-changing social tasks and the resulting police task. Learning (individually and together) is therefore an essential part of policing. By learning individually and together, new solutions and insights are created.

With this conference on learning, development and change, we give a boost to individual and collective learning by bringing together experts from inside and outside the police and exchanging knowledge on the challenges facing the police, the knowledge and skills that are needed for this and how the police organization can ensure that there is a culture in which learning takes place. We do this by presenting a varied and interactive program, with keynotes and workshops divided over different themes in which a number of presentations are followed by discussion and reflection.
