Description
Workshop: Development of MSc. Level Educational Material for Medical Robotics for Medical Professionals. As part of the WeCoRD Erasmus+ project (Links to an external site.), we (Kostas Nizamis, Mark Vlutters) are working on the development of education material in wearable and collaborative robotics. Our task involves the transition of “die-hard robotics” material to a master course for medically oriented students, such as those in technical medicine. To create such a course, we would like to have your input, and invite you to our Workshop.
Aim
The influence of robotics on the medical world is expected to grow in the future. As a result, the need for skilled graduates at the interface of the medical and technical world will increase. The overall aim is to set up a master course related to robotics with a specific focus on people with a medical-oriented background.
The main questions we want to get answered during this workshop are:
- What are the topics most relevant to students with a medical-oriented background in relation to robotics?
- Can these topics be supported by examples of robotics in a medical setting?
