The Defense Industry and Innovation Strategy 2025-2029 highlights smart materials as a priority. A diversity of current materials for defense developments will be presented, including additive manufacturing and composite technologies. Participants will be invited to share their views; identifying knowledge areas for material development which would further support creating a strong fundamental materials for defense research base.
