About the symposium Welcome to the website of the annual Symposium! This year's theme will be 'Go with the flow'. During this event speakers will be talking about their research revolving around fluid dynaimcs and their many applications. Fluid dynamics encompasses the study of liquid or gas which have the ability to move through a system. The application of this field is boundless; from designing aeronautical vehicles; the fuel in automotive vehicles; to predicting the weather, fluid dynamics are an invaluable tool in today's industry and academia alike. Just in the last few years, fluid dynamics has shed light into the nature of cyclones on Jupiter, and the spread of COVID-19 via airborn transmission, just to name a few. Today's study of moving fluids requires a multidisciplinary understanding and collaboration of physics, mathematics, and computer science, as the systems we analyze increase in complexity and call for more advanced analysis and simulation. Our symposium will focus on both cutting edge research in the field of fluid dyanmics as well as the applications of fluid dynamics. As an organization, we welcome you to join us on the 11th of May for a compelling and informative day on the subject.
