Description

The Department of Earth Observation Systems (EOS) of the Faculty of Geo-information Science and Earth Observation (ITC) positions itself as a department of science, covering core science as far as this is relevant for Earth observation and data quality in relation to building on capacity. Core research areas of the department are spatial statistics and image analysis, geo-information extraction with sensor systems, and geo-health. Research software play important role in all activities related to these research areas.
