’Social security 2030’ (later TOIMI) is a project coordinated by the prime minister’s office of Finland (see https://vnk.fi/toimi, unfortunately the pages are currently in Finnish only). The aim of the project is to prepare for the social security reform which is planned to be implemented by the next government of Finland. TOIMI has 54 members. The members are from different fields, eg. researchers and MPs. Together with the University of Helsinki, TOIMI project is arranging a workshop on the 27th of September in 2018. We will invite experts from four European countries (Denmark, Netherlands, UK and Germany) to discuss different social security models in each country.
