Activity: Talk or presentationInvited talk

Description

In the 57th session of WFORW Foundation, the session titled "What NOT TO DO in Lakes", -shifting the focus from common lake conservation measures to identifying harmful practices and misguided interventions. The session foregrounded critical questions around ecological and social perceptions of lakes, such as what is a lake? who is a lake for?—to provoke reflection on the multiple meanings, values, and roles associated with urban lakes. Through interactive tools like word clouds and ranking exercises, the session facilitated a participatory dialogue on how urban lakes are imagined and managed across ecological, social, and institutional dimensions.
