    How do we spark innovation in less developed regions? Assistant professor Juan M. Jauregui Becker takes the audience on a personal journey through the moments of his life that made him realize that product development practices can be recreated outside the formal structures of industrial settings to serve as a powerful tool to drive social change. Juan Jauregui Becker is an assistant professor in the laboratory of Design, Production and Management at the University of Twente. Born in Venezuela, he was one of the first international master students in Mechanical Engineering at the UT. Next to his professional career, Juan is involved in supporting innovators in their product development process in Mexico and Columbia.
