Needs and obstacles relating to Open Science at ITC - Results from an online questionnaire

Open Science (OS) increases the transparency, verifiability, and reusability of scientific outputs. However, these scientific values alone are not enough to achieve the culture change towards OS and motivate researchers to follow OS principles. Which obstacles prevent researchers at ITC from adhering to OS practices, and at which stage of the research process do they need support? We conducted an online questionnaire to shed light on these questions. Based on the insights, we provide a list of recommendations to establish a more open research environment.
