Personal profile

I am a full professor of Sociology and Public Policy. My profile is three-sided. First, I am a senior scholar in sociology using state-of-the art methods and statistics, with 25 years of experience. I have a broad interest with respect to research topics and a strong track record in interdisciplinary projects. The last ten years, my research has increasingly focused on health and inequality. Second, I am a scholar who is actively involved in teaching and educational innovation, ranging from stimulating excellence programmes in university education to being responsible for exams in social sciences in secondary education. Last, I am a university professional with strategic responsibilities, who is departmental chair but also works as a trust person for the accused in Scientific Integrity Complaints Procedures.
