I am Francis Kalloor Joseph, a postdoctoral fellow at Biomedical Photonics Imaging (BMPI) group in the Faculty of Science and Technology, University of Twente. I completed my bachelor degree in Electronics Engineering in 2011 from Calicut University, India and master degree in   Communication and Signal Processing at Christ University, India in 2013. I did my Ph.D. at the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad in 2018. I was also a Fulbright doctoral research fellow (2016-2017) at Rochester Institute of Technology and University of Rochester. My research interest is in developing medical imaging systems for diagnostic and therapeutic applications. My current work focuses on developing a photoacoustic system for interventional procedures.
