Teaching

Hil Meijer teaches courses related to Dynamical Systems and Applications, including Differential Equations, Calculus, Linear Algebra, Mathematical Methods, Nonlinear Dynamics and Dynamic Behaviour of Neural Networks. With Avitabile (VU), he teaches the bi-annual national Mastermath course Mathematical Neuroscience. He regularly supervises BSc and MSc projects and internships.

Hil obtained his UTQ (basic teaching qualification) in 2011 and his SUTQ (senior qualification) in 2022. The research for the SUTQ considered strenghtening mathematical modelling in the UT-Applied Mathematics bachelor programme with a focus on project work. Since February 2017, he chairs the Programme Committee of Applied Mathematics.
