I am assistant professor at the University of Twente. I teach MSc and PhD courses on remote sensing and computer programming. My research interest is hyperspectral remote sensing and image processing for earth science applications. Specifically, these are:

  • porting hyperspectral mineral indices to freely available satellite imagery;
  • analysis of multi-temporal satellite imagery data for monitoring earth dynamics;
  • analysis of time-lapse camera data for monitoring earth dynamics;
  • the use of open source computing environments and processing automation.
