Personal profile

Personal profile

As a PhD in healthcare logistics I do pragmatic consulting projects at the Amsterdam UMC (location VUmc), but also continue doing research. What I especially like about my job, is the mix between interesting new mathematics, discussing with/explaining my research to people outside my field of expertise, and the challenge of supporting the implementation of my research results.

Specialties: Explaining mathematics to laymen, work with non-mathematical employers, stochastic processes/queueing theory
