Research profile

I am a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Twente, affiliated with the CLIC-IT project, where I focus on fostering interorganizational collaboration and collective sensemaking within learning communities to accelerate digital transformation.

My research ambitions centre around understanding the complex dynamics of interorganizational collaboration. In particular I study the governance of strategic alliances and how alliance partners can manage the complex dynamics within these relationships. In my work I explore critical challenges such as inter-partner conflict, disruptions, and the dynamics of multi-partner collaborations designed to address grand societal challenges.

Through collaboration with alliance professionals, my ambition is to develop actionable insights that help support organizations in navigating the complexities, uncertainties, and tensions of collaborative efforts.

In my academic journey I have completed my PhD at the University of Groningen, where I focused on governance and disruptions in strategic alliances (defended November 2024). Before starting a postdoctoral position, I also worked as a Junior Lecturer at the University of Groningen, where I gained extensive experience teaching and mentoring students.

In addition to my research, I am actively involved in the European Academy of Management (EURAM) conference, serving as the Program Co-chair for the Strategic Management Special Interest Group (SIG13), and as the Co-chair for the Strategic Management SIG general track.

Teaching profile

My teaching philosophy emphasizes bridging theory and practice. I am dedicated to fostering critical thinking and engagement among students by using interactive methods, such as simulations and challenge based case exercises, co-created in close collaboration with alliance professionals.
