My Topics are Design, History and Meaning. I am especially interested in the relationships between Design, Technology and Society. My research perspective is on combining insights from Design History with Philosophy of Technology. Apart from that I am an expert in course and curriculum Development for the Design Disciplines.

I am also coordinator of the Mastertrack Human Technology Relations, (part of the Master Industrial Design Engineering), chairman of the Examination Committee of Creative Technology and iTECH, and have been External Examiner at Nottingham Trent University.
