My Topics are Design, History and Meaning. I am especially interested in the relationships between Design, Technology and Society. My research perspective is on combining insights from Design Research with Philosophy of Technology, for which I coined the term "the Practical Turn". Apart from that I am an expert in course and curriculum Development for the Design Disciplines.
My educational activities are mainly related to the Mastertrack Human Technology Relations, which is part of the Master Industrial Design Engineering and individual projects in Creative Technology and iTECH.
