My research interests include Internet of Things (IoT), cyber-physical system, embedded system, wireless communication, optimization and computational intelligence. I am especially interested in the resource constrained networks, where the devices have limited energy, memory resources, computation and communication abilities. These constraints bring many new research challenges. One of my research topics is to design efficient algorithms for reducing the energy cost and increasing the collaboration of the IoT end devices using the interdisciplinary knowledge between communication, control, signal processing and network optimization. An example project I am supervising is the smart connected bikes (https://www.smartconnectedbikes.nl/) using embedded intelligence, v2x communication and secure data sharing.
