Since September 2022, Ning has been working as a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Twente on the 'Modelling and Testing for Enhanced Battery Lifetime' project. His research interests include state estimation, modeling, and life prediction of lithium-ion power batteries. For his doctoral thesis, Ning aims to develop an AI-based algorithm for early diagnostics and prognostics of batteries, using Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy, with the goal of extending battery life.
