IntelliGeo: Laying the Groundwork for Integrating Large Language Models into GIS

Our project seeks to revolutionize how we create geographical models. By integrating advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) language models with open-source geographical analysis platforms, we will craft a solution where AI and human experts can collaboratively design intricate models. Imagine a tool that assists in developing models to detect flood-prone areas, estimate crop yields, or predict environmental shifts. This research is about realizing such intelligent modeling. In doing so, we are advancing geographical modeling, contributing to improving AI language models and simultaneously championing a European vision of human-centric AI.
