Abstract

Over the last 25 years the IC Design group of the University of Twente in the Netherlands has contributed several new circuit concepts that have become widely used, e.g. thermal Noise Canceling, the sub-sampling PLL and N-path filters and/or mixers. This talk will review these circuit concepts and some of their development story focusing on key insights ( Eureka moments).
