Abstract
We obtain a complete classification of all self-adjoint solution of the control algebraic Riccati equation for infinite-dimensional systems under the following assumptions: the system is output stabilizable, strongly detectable and the filter Riccati equation has an invertible self-adjoint nonnegative solution.
