title = "A conceptual framework for ERP benefit classification: Results of a literature review",
abstract = "This paper presents the results of a detailed literature review on enterprise resource planning (ERP) benefits, carried out according to the guidelines by Webster et al. (2002). The identified benefits are mapped onto previously identified benefit categories. Based on this mapping a list of literature gaps is identified and a three-dimensional conceptual benefit framework is developed. It is build upon several benefit dimensions and the balanced scorecard approach. The framework is supposed to help in the identification, realization and assessment of ERP benefits. Special focus is put on benefits management in cross-organizational ERP implementations.",
