Abstract

This paper describes the design and implementation of iPad image navigation system based on tablet PC and the three-dimensional location system and we develop a medical image post-processing software on iPad. The iPad image navigation system posts a new interactive medical image displaying way to achieve a function that the iPad when held above patient gives the corresponding spatial position CT/MRI slice images to provide a new human-computer interactive medical image display mode, to achieve rapid, accurate and dynamic interactive medical image display technology. Such system can help doctor to view patient CT/MRI images to guide surgeons during invasive surgical procedures to the desired region with minimal damage to surrounding areas.
