Abstract
Organizational communication is increasingly based on electronic networks. The growth is seldom the result of a planned organizational development of these technologies, but mostly driven by 'rapid' technology developments and best user practices. To enable organizations to understand and to steer these development processes, there is a need for a comprehensive overview of factors that drive the development of networked organizational communication. The goal of this paper is to provide for an integrative framework for the analysis of the development of networked organizational communication.
