Abstract

The development of a remote sensing monitoring system for the San Jose del Guaviare area in the Colombian Amazon, its generic aspects of its architecture and its functional components is described. A dynamic accumulator of interpreted data is introduced as a new component, essential for the monitoring system. The system will be interfaced with a GIS developed for the area.
