Anti-Fragility in Design Engineering Procedures Embedded in Hybrid Multiple Realms and Blended Environments: The Physical Real of Reality

    Abstract

    Most design, engineering, and industrial processes are determined and structured along previsional and consensual methods and/or methodologies outlined by agreed upon scientific and scholarly discourse and understanding. Prevailing process structures and underlying frameworks are dominant organizational factors that constrain, hinder, and obfuscate possible and advanced methods and/or novel theoretical frameworks to protrude or make further progress over time. We present possible countenance of new (innovative) non-linear models of processes, imbued with well-tempered technologies, the embedment of hybrid realities (multiple convergence of analogue and digital) and multiplicity of context-aware situations
    (incl. volatility, ambiguity, uncertainty, complexity, irrationality).
