Abstract
Presents the procedures for the technical treatment of monographs in the open access software Open Monograph Press, a project developed at Faculdade Minas Gerais. The aim of this paper is to demonstrate the step-by-step adopted in the creation of records in Famig's Digital Monograph Library and the main difficulties encountered with the use of thissoftware. It is considered that the chosen software met the project needs, however some limitations need to be studied so improvements can be made.
