Abstract

This research examines Mobile Energy Storage Systems (MESS) for improving grid stability and peak shaving in electrical networks. It employs a bi-level optimization approach based on different optimization methods to determine optimal MESS location and operation strategies. Tested across various monthly/seasonal scenarios, this approach is applied to the IEEE 33 bus and 141 bus test systems, considering real data for the consumption behavior of the nodes.
