    Abstract

In this work a multi purpose setup has been developed for homo- and copolymerizations of ethylene and 1-hexene in slurry and gas phase. Polymerization experiments have been executed in semi-batch mode with a heterogeneous metallocene catalyst under industrial conditions. During the gas-phase polymerizations the monomer concentrations have been measured and controlled online. The activities for both monomers were measured with flow meter techniques.
