N2 - On, March, 6 2014, Mrs. Sanaz Salati successfully defended her PhD dissertation with the title ‘Characterization and remote detection of onshore hydrocarbon seep-induced alteration‘ at the at the University of Twente (Enschede, the Netherlands). In her thesis, Sanaz studied oil and gas seeps in the Zagros mountains and she showed a relationship between seep occurrences and the efficiency of the cap rock sealing of the reservoir.
