Abstract

Introduction
-Off-pump coronary artery bypass grafting (OPCABG) practice declines in USA, and rises in Germany
-Total arterial grafting recommended for high-grade coronary artery stenosis over saphenous vein graft (2018 ESC/EACTS guidelines)
-EACTS/STS 2023 statement endorses individual conduit selection
-Only generalized outcomes for CABG in the Netherlands described
-Controversies regarding CABG best-practice remain

Aim
To describe trends of isolated CABG practice in the Netherlands from 2005 – 2020, with 30-day major adverse cardiac and cerebrovascular events (MACCE) and 5-year survival and freedom from repeat revascularization for 2014 – 2020.
