Abstract

This work describes a mixed continuous-discrete variable optimization procedure for thermoplastic composite panels. Minimum weight configuration is the goal. Buckling constraint is applied to the problem. A Kriging surrogate model of the constraint is generate to evaluate the optimum solution.
