Abstract

The authors regret to report a minor error in Figure 3C, incorrectly referencing control data (1.0) for the fold-change in expression of iNOS, CD86, and MHCII on Day 5 rather than the Free R848 data. The updated figure is shown below:[Formula presented] We also update the corresponding text, as highlighted: However, the decrease in marker expression, nearly to or below 1.0 (i.e., equivalent expression to the empty hydrogel) by Day 5, indicates that macrophages polarized toward M1 phenotypes will lose their phenotype without additional stimulation. The authors apologise for any inconvenience caused.
