Abstract
This EngD thesis presents the design and development of an automated collaborative robot (cobot) system for pre- and post-cleaning tasks during railway repair operations using Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing (WAAM) for RAMLAB in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
