Abstract
The CASCADE-IMEI study was started to explore the role of a learning
environment (LE) in assisting mathematics student teachers learning
Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) as a new instructional approach in
mathematics education in Indonesia. The LE for this study has been developed and evaluated using a development research approach.
