Abstract

This article investigates the demographic challenges the ageing workforce poses within the context of Industry 4.0. It focuses on "Silver Workers" (employees aged 50 and above) and their integration into the evolving labour market through enhanced competencies and roles necessitated by new technologies. By conducting a detailed literature review, the study identifies educational means to prepare the current workforce for future demands, emphasizing the importance of continuous learning and the adaptation of businesses to value the experience and expertise of older employees effectively.
