Abstract

Factories of the future aim on energy and resource efficient production as well as on consistent utilisation of renewable energy sources. On one hand, this requires demand-oriented technical building services and the integration of new technologies. On the other hand, it requires transdisciplinary planning. The developed method-assisted procedure, based on energy flow transparency and TCO evaluation, allows an integrated evaluation of technological measures within the factory planning process.
