N2 - This document presents the Families_Share (FS) methodological framework for the social and economic impact assessment of the project and its technical solutions, particularly, the platform. The framework is designed in the context of the spirit and intellectual legacy of Collective Awareness Platforms for Sustainability and Social Innovation (CAPS) projects. Associated with the social innovation domain, CAPS have been used by the European Commission (EC) to mark a research field where projects can investigate how collaborative and networked ICT systems enable and facilitate social innovation-related processes and practices, thereby highlighting an awareness creation and solution-generation outlook on contemporary societal challenges.
