Abstract

The practical implementation of AI systems in digital agriculture presents organizational challenges due to the different sources, formats, and volumes of data processed for different purposes. The article examines the data Governance Actions employed in research at the Center for Artificial Intelligence (C4AI) at the University of São Paulo (USP). We discuss the management of datasets through a transdisciplinary collaboration between Agriculture, Computer Science, and Law. We carried out analyzes on the legal privacy and data protection framework, including ISO 27001 and data protection policy of the University of São Paulo. The results include the creation of a committee responsible for developing a data use agreement, privacy and Cookies policy, project data management plan, consent form, and training actions aimed at the community of researchers from different areas of C4AI knowledge.
