N2 - Over the years, the IEEE SENSORS Conference has become one of the premier, true international, conferences on anything that has to do with sensors, ranging from principles, design and fabrication to interfacing, data-extraction, applications, etc. The IEEE SENSORS 2015 Conference was held in Bushan, South Korea. The program consisted of 484 papers (249 orals and 235 poster contributions). As has become customary, the tracks chairs were asked to select the approximately 10% best abstract submissions to their track. The authors of these were subsequently invited to contribute an extended manuscript to this Special Issue.
