Abstract
In this paper, a hierarchical approach is proposed for EMI level prediction. The difficulties of EMI modeling of the AC-AC converters due to the special characteristics of the applications are first pointed out. Present methods are reviewed next. Then, the proposed method is introduced. The steps of applying this approach are demonstrated for a ZVS converter. Because this approach is a straight forward method, it gives a possibility to do optimization and sensitivity analysis for EMC issue of power electronic application.
