Abstract
Augmented Reality allows us to integrate artificially generated virtual content with the real world that that is in contrast with what is already present. In this way, we can confront the user with artificially generated humorous situations. We can also deceive the user or let her have – not necessarily humorous – illusory experiences. This paper is devoted to playful and humorous experiences that can be realized with augmented reality and some examples of existing playful augmented reality applications will be presented
