A system was developed to observe the step movement on faces of crystals growing in a flow system at constant supersaturation. This method was used in the observation of growth phenomena on the (010) faces of potassium hydrogen phthalate, KAP. In this paper the measurement of the step kinetics on the (010) face of KAP is presented. The results indicate that impurities may influence the growth kinetics.
