Innovating towards sustainability: How three universities are embedding sustainability in their education and research

    Abstract

    This comparative case study for the EU-supported HEInnovate project addresses integrating sustainability in higher education institutions. The cases are the University of Gothenburg (Sweden), Aalborg University (Denmark), and University College Cork (Ireland). The report shows what HEIs can do to embed sustainability in their institutions, what approaches may work, and what barriers may be encountered.
