Abstract
The Computational Fluids Dynamic it is used for studying a thermosyphon heat exchanger like a novel technique of numeric modeling, for the first time in Cuba. This technique could save a lot of resources. This work is the continuation of a long research in the heat pipes technology. Working with Computational Fluids Dynamic (DFC) programs, consumes less time in the experimentation and allows saving material and human resources for these studies. It is possible to know many particularities of different geometries of tubes arrangements. This investigation will guarantee a future thermosyphon construction for industrial purposes. Also, this project has aroused great interest because it tributes to a better boiler efficiency and system's reliability under the new conditions imposed by burning Cuban fuel.
