Abstract

Laser systems have the capacity to perform in an unique way certain otologic procedures. It is, however, imperative for those who use these systems, to accumulate a solid knowledge about the various types of lasers which are available on the market to-day. Due to recent technical developments lasers become more accessible for specialised otologic surgeons.
