Abstract
The magnetic properties of the cubic NaZn13 type pseudobinary compounds LaFeXAl13-x were studied in the temperature range T=4.2-300 K by means of57Fe-Mössbauer spectroscopy, magnetization and zero-field susceptibility measurements. The compounds LaFexAl13-x show a rather peculiar concentration dependence of the type of magnetic ordering as well as of the ordering temperature.
