Abstract

The present study describes mathematics achievement of Slovene students at the end of compulsory education prior to the implementation of the reformed curriculum from two perspectives. Furthermore, developments in Slovene students' achievements were also examined over time by comparing achievement data from 1995 to 1999. Through this, possible areas of improvement in Slovene mathematics education were indicated.
