Abstract

The invention relates to a method for the production of a rubber article and to a rubber article having a friction reducing coating formed by a lubricating varnish. During production, a basic form of the rubber article is produced, said basic form being coated with a photochemically curing lubricating varnish. The photochemically curing lubricating varnish is then cured.
